SEED — Starter Workshop for Eco-Enterprises in India
The SEED Starter Program offers workshops to guide young entrepreneurs from early stages of ideation to the generation of a viable business plan. SEED Starter invites applications from teams who develop green and inclusive business solutions to key social and environmental challenges in India. Participation in the workshops is free, although participants need to cover their transportation costs and accommodation. All SEED Starter participants consist of a team of 2-5 members. Participants will be eligible to apply for a SEED Grant (of up to €1,000) after successfully completing the workshop. The application deadline is 15 September 2022.

The Johnson & Johnson Scholars Award Program supports female STEM2D leaders (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Manufacturing and Design). The Scholar Award is paid to the university of the recipient in support of her studies and research. Applicants must be assistant female professors or have a global equivalent faculty position at an accredited academic university, institution or design school. The Scholars Program is open to females from all around the world. The application process closes on 30 September 2022.

African Academy of Sciences — African Postdoctoral Fellowships
The African Postdoctoral Training Initiative (APTI) supports early-career African scientists who wish to become scientific leaders in their community. APTI makes 4-year postdoctoral fellowships where Fellows are placed in various laboratories for 2 years before returning to their home institutions in Africa for another 2 years of research. Applicants must be citizens of an African country and currently employed in an academic, research, or government position. The fellowship provides salary support of up to US$38 per year, research support of up to US$50 thousand per year, and equipment purchase support of up to US$50 thousand. Nominations must be received by 30 September 2022.

Fast Forward — Tech Accelerator
The Fast Forward invites applications for the 2023 Accelerator Program to support and scale tech nonprofits. Tech innovations may include agri-tech or clean energy, among others. Selected entrepreneurs receive a US$25 thousand grant, mentorship, and connections to people who can help their innovation scale. The accelerator is open to tech nonprofits from around the world. EuroMarine — Research Grants for Early-Career Researchers
OYSTER is an independent working group dedicated to promoting and supporting opportunities for young researchers in marine science. EuroMarine offers a grant of €7,500 to early-career researchers from EuroMarine full member organizations to undertake an original and collaborative research project. The project must be led by 2-3 young scientists, from at least two different countries. The deadline for proposal submission is 31 October 2022.

British Academy — International Writing Workshops
The British Academy invites proposals for Writing Workshops in developing countries. The aim of the Writing Workshops is to provide access for early-career researchers to the academic requirements of journals, including international journals, and to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to publish in these journals. Awards are set at a maximum of £30 thousand. Funding must be used in the direct delivery of the workshops, and can cover travel and related expenses. The lead applicant must be based at a UK university or research institute. Each application must have at least one co-applicant based in an ODA-eligible country.
